If you’re in an accident, it’s important to file a claim promptly. To do this, either call your insurance broker or your insurance company’s claims assist number, which is open 24/7/365 and is toll-free from anywhere in North America.

Be Prepared in Case of an Auto Accident

Accidents are stressful situations, especially when you don’t have the necessary information on hand. A little preparation can help make this situation easier. Take down the following information:


  • Date and time of accident
  • Location of accident
  • Driver’s name/vehicle owner’s name
  • Driver’s address and daytime phone number
  • Driver’s insurance and policy number
  • Makes/models of any involved vehicles
  • Whether or not there are any injuries
  • Police file number
  • Whether or not there are any charges laid and if so, what
  • Vehicle license plate numbers
  • Names of any witnesses and their daytime phone numbers


Do not admit fault. If you are injured, proceed to the nearest medical care facility. Call our office as soon as possible after receiving care.
